A self-contained module for FileMaker developers to integrate or deploy. Runs as a stand-alone file. All you need is your VAT number and HMRC gateway password to get started. Using OAuth to grant permissions for the file (which has to be renewed at least every 18 months), then you can immediately get, and download your next obligation.
This product is compatible with Making Tax Digital and is HMRC recognised
01. Authenticate
Use your Government ID, password, and 2MFA to authenticate using the browser within the file. You will be asked to give permission for the FMP2dtm app to connect to HRMC on your behalf.

02. Download obligations
Now you are connected, use the 'new return' button to head off to HMRC and return the next VAT return that you will need to complete and submit. This will show you the dates of teh period end, and period reference ID

03. Enter your data
Once you are on the card for the empty return, we support imports pf several different file types, with full instructions about exactly what shape the data should take - e.g. CSV, JSON, or the Excel from local Quickbooks. If you have something different, let us know and we can add that to the list. You are also able to manually enter the data into the 5 boxes, and the calculations are done for you.

04. Submit the data
Until you are ready to submit, you can return at any time to edit the numbers, and once you have confirmed that the return is complete, you can use the button to submit the data to HRMC. If there is any error, you will be notified immediately so that you can amend if required.

05. Instant confirmation
When you submit a return successfully, HMRC will return a reference and timestamp, which is displayed on the record. The presence of these is confimrmation that the data is now successfully with HMRC. All that you need to do now is send off the money, and wait for another three months! Easy to use, many satisfied customers, and cost effective!
